The Bikongor Hydroelectric Project uses the Sewa River near Najaiama Sewafe in Kenema District, Sierra Leone. The dam stands 18 meters high, annual rainfall averages 2,500 mm. The facility includes a concrete overflow dam and short non-overflow sections. The project involves open canal, Forebay and surface powerhouse. Designed capacity is 150MW.
