Yellamanawadi Tank filling project lifts water from Krishna River near Zunjarwad Village to fill Yellamanawadi and other tanks in Athani taluk. The project involves two lifts: first from Krishna River and the second from the right bank of Yellamanawadi Tank, filling eight tanks in the second stage. The pump house is located on the right bank of Yellamanawadi Tank, providing easy road access.

The project plans to utilize 172.89Mcft in Stage-1 and 138.81Mcft in Stage-2, with a total consumption of about 138.81Mcft for filling the eight tanks. The discharge requirement is around 0.5515cumec (47.6MLD) with a total pump capacity of 860hp.
