Yellamanawadi Tank filling project lifts water from Krishna River near Zunjarwad Village to fill Yellamanawadi and seven other tanks in Athani taluk, Belagavi district. The project involves two lifts: first from Krishna River and second from the right bank of Yellamanawadi Tank.

The tank has a catchment area of 39.37km² and a registered command area of 260Ha. It has a live storage capacity of 45.44Mcft, with contemplated utilization of 60.49Mcft to address reduced inflow and ensure reliable water supply during monsoon.

The project uses a total pump capacity of 1,440hp to deliver a discharge of 0.787cumec (67.9MLD) with a total consumption of about 132.015Mcft.
