Katakabhavi LIS lifts water from Hirehalla River near Jaganur village to irrigate 250Ha in Katakabhavi, Raybagh Taluk, Belagavi District. The scheme comprises approach channel, intake, pump house, manifold, rising main, and delivery chamber, all designed for efficient access and minimal land acquisition.

With a total installed pump capacity of 440hp, the project delivers 0.18cumec (15.5MLD).

Bangalore Hydro Engineers & Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (BHEC) provides complete planning and civil design services. The project is nearing completion.
