Shri Siddeshwar LIS lifts water from Krishna River near Haliyal village to irrigate 825Ha (GCA) in Athani Rural village, Athani Taluk, Belagavi District. The pump house is located on the river’s left bank near Haliyal, providing easy road access and housing three vertical turbine pumps.

The scheme requires a total pump capacity of 500hp to deliver 0.349cumec (30.1MLD) at a pumping head of 169m, supporting irrigation mainly for Kharif crops with 24-hour pumping.
